Do you know how much your local government invests in the arts? Would you commit to advocating for an increase in that cultural investment for arts, culture, and heritage in your community, within the capacity of your elected body?
yes, I know how much is spread through various departments and buildings. yes, increases are important to a diverse art community that needs support to grow and deliver sound and thoughtful professional events and support for youth/non professional arts groups.
If elected, will you take an active role on behalf of your local government in championing the growth of arts, culture and heritage in your community? Why?
yes, involvement is a key for knowledge. i am however, a person who spends a large part of my life involved in the arts already both locally and globally.
Students with an education rich in the arts have better grade point averages and are three times more likely to get a degree. Will you commit to making the arts a critical component of every child’s education? If so, how?
i would be willing to participate in planning dialogue for student art curriculum. sharing my knowledge of the impact the arts have on our lives and inter-connectedness.
How will your local government maintain or grow its investment in cultural programs in your community?
we have a wonderful new city building that is dedicated to the arts both public and professional. i will work to provide quality content both youth and professional.

we must have reliable discussions with the community as it grows and changes

continue to develop and use proper media to deliver the message we have created through the council.

build reliable venues and services for the creators and performers.
What do you feel is the single most important issue relating to arts, culture, and heritage in your community, and what action will you take to address it?
it's not thinking "BIG" enough. influence change and plan to showcase our community globally.
How do you personally engage in the cultural life of the community? (e.g. involvement on committees, attending arts and culture events, etc.)
i attend events locally and internationally over 50 days a year from live music to galleries and museums.
